Job Summary
The Golf Shop Attendant provides customer service and assists with the daily operations in a golf pro shop.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience.Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.Performs work under direct supervision.
Job Responsibilities
Operates a cash register and credit card machines to process transactions. Answers customer’s questions about merchandise and provides information pertaining to the course. Assists with tracking inventory and restocking store merchandise including clubs balls tees and other golf equipment or apparel. Organizes merchandise so that the store is in presentable condition. Collects fees from players for each round of golf played and initiates discounts and or promotions for tee times as approved.
