Job Summary

The Aviation Life Support Equipment Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and/or replacing equipment “Helmets and NVG goggles” utilized by employees on company aircraft as well as subsidiary companies.

Essential Functions/Duties

Perform inspection/repair of company owned helmets Perform inspection/repair of NVG’s Create shipping labels/receiving labels Maintain company inventory Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

High Diploma or equivalent A&P preferred but not required

Skills

Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Exhibits professionalism, is ethical and able to maintain confidentiality. Well-organized, analytical and self-directed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to relate to and interact with people at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills. Active listening skills Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Avionics/mechanical background preferred Ability to interpret technical instructions Ability to work with a variety of mechanical tools and instruments

Experience

One year experience in avionics or electronic/electrical background preferred Must be able to obtain repairmen certificate within one year of employment. | Job Description :
