Salary: $67,240 –$87,407
Qualifications/Requirements:The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a technical advisor to local installation information technology (IT) users in the area of policy and plans as related to IT systems.
Supporting Customers / Developing projects: Understand and develop customer Telecom requirements. Advise customers on appropriate processes/procedures for success. Produce documentation for contract award or coordinate on Tech Evals of proposals with SME’s. Ensure technical prerequisites are installed to provide phone/network/system services upon building occupation. Prepare documentation for leaders to understand required purchases or funds needed for planned project. While most of these are not technical in nature, personnel with knowledge & experience in a specific Cyber/Telecom area are most successful in this position.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- A BICS Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM) and/or Project Management Program, Project+, Process Improvement is highly desired.
- Knowledge of organization’s policy and planning formulation process along with its missions and objectives to prepare IT polices and plans.
- Knowledge of budgetary processes, cost-benefit analysis methods, and analysis of performance data to prepare budget recommendations in support of IT requirements.
- Knowledge of systems architecture, integration techniques and testing methods.
- Ability to analyze complexities of existing technology, reviews, revises, and develops policy, initiates plans for enhancements, and provides management sufficient technical and cost analysis information, through written documentation and oral briefings, to render informed judgments.
- Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements.
