The AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate seeks to hire a motivated and experienced team Lead in the Plans and Programs Branch of the Integration and Operations Division. This position will be filled at the DR/DO-II level and is located at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Position duties include, but are not limited to
Serves as team lead for the Director’s Action Group, providing direction and expertise for the formulation of technical and operational communication policies, strategies, and organizational goals. Provides functional assistance to basic research, exploratory development, advanced technology development, and manufacturing technology areas. Manages directorate technical and operational communications. Develops and recommends technical and operational communications plans, policies, procedures, and strategies using established management principles and pertinent regulations. Surveys customer base and partner organizations to identify and prioritize technical and operational communication products and activities. Develops annual budget and resource requirements to meet program objectives. Submits annual budget to reflect realistic needs and operating costs of technical and operational communications. Monitors expenditures with regard to budgeted goals. Advises Branch Chief on budget submissions for equipment, supplies, and services that affect technical and operational communications. Determines ways to improve or introduce new programs and activities, synchronized with overall Laboratory strategic marketing initiatives. Using a variety of complex data management analysis tools, it analyzes, interprets and deciphers information and reports to leadership on widely differing problems such as technical and operational forecasts, product designs, trends, regulations, and policies. Provides technical and managerial leadership, including managing contracts, writing project status reports, and developing team's tasks. Schedules, directs, and monitors activities of staff to ensure quality deliverables. Conducts planning and provides recommendations to Branch Chief on task workload.

Must be capable of meeting APDP requirements within 5 years.
