How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Location - Santa Fe Springs, CA
Local Class A Delivery Driver - Union
Pay Rate - $ 35.00 /HR plus OTSchedule is Sunday through Thursday, day shift.Local Deliveries - CO2 Tanker pickups, could also be assigned 8 to 10 Route stops per day as well as internal shuttle runs. (full tractor/trailer loads) between branches or plants). NOTE: This position requires that the driver is willing to do route deliveries, shuttle work, and full load.Mechanical Aptitude Necessary - Turn a wrench, connect hoses, etc..Shifts Available - 5 day scheduled work week. Opportunity for OT is consistent (OT is anything over 8 hours per day)Schedule available is Saturday to Wednesday. Day shift, 1-2 AM Start TimeDrivers average 50 hours/weekMust have excellent attendance and be able to pivot into different roles when neededAbility to Load and Unload route trucks with electric pallet jack, forklifts and lift gate

All Trucks are Manual Transmission.Must be OK with loading and unloading your own trucks for route deliveriesDrive Cam in trucks.No electronics/Bluetooth allowed.Zero tolerance for cell phone and electronic devices while driving an Airgas CMV.Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet.Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation.

Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsementsAt least 21 yrs oldA Class A CDL with 3 yrs experience of recent experienceHazmat and Tanker experience PreferredGraduated from an accredited truck driving school and have a diploma this will count as the 1 year of experience. (with in the last 4 years)Confirmed experience driving in the military with a CDL will also count for the required experience.No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years.No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc) in the last 3 years.No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for “Failure to pay child support”.No DUI on the last 7 years.
