📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Airswift is looking for a Drafter to work with a major client in Lake Charles, LA on a 1-year assignment.
Work Hours: 40 hours a week
Responsibilities: Draw up all new piping installations and revised installations for each unit in the refinery so each drawing can be CAD for assigned piping circuits and common systems linked to PCMS Go out into the units to draft piping isometric drawings Bring the drawings back to CAD Operator who will CAD it and work with Inspector to assign TML’s and circuits, etc.
Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in Drafting Knowledge of Drafting standards, methods, and practices Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment Must be able to perform field walk downs High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer/pc skills Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Worked in a similar capacity in similar industry (refining, petro-chemical, etc.)
