Clinical Manager - Behavioral Health Services - Inpatient UnitTiming : 8am – 4:30pm
ResponsibilitiesSupports the Nursing Director in performing routine and complex activities that support department operations. The primary functions of the position include clinical and operational oversight of the social work, crisis services and program staff. The Manager ensures all clinical services provided meet regulatory and quality guidelines. This position also performs a wide range of supervisory and clinical functions to assist in ensuring the clinical services in the department of psychiatry are delivered in accordance with all clinical protocols and procedures. The Manager is responsible for monitoring best practices are being implemented by clinical staff. Education/ExperienceMaster’s degree in Social Work or Nursing requiredMinimum 3 years of clinical experience in a community-based mental health facility requiredMinimum 1 year of supervisory experience related to mental health services preferredLicenses, Certifications, RegistrationsLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW) or Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required
Skills/AbilitiesExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize effectively; solid organizational skillsProven ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with other nursing personnel, patients, physicians and the publicAbility to understand and implement regulatory guidelines
