📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:The Manufacturing Engineer must be able to establish and drive a project budget and timelines.Must design and improve manufacturing systems to meet production goals.Partner with cross function teams to resolve technical issues.Design and build End of Arm Tools (EOAT)The Manufacturing Engineer must troubleshoot production issues related to mechanics, electronics, etc.Program and Troubleshoot Robots (6-axis and 3 axis) to perform production tasks.Program and Troubleshoot Vision Systems to ensure part quality.Implement Ladder Logic to program PLCs to drive manufacturing equipment.The Manufacturing Engineer must assist with training operations staff for new processes or procedures.Travel to vendor or customer facilities when required to support business needs.Must implement cost effective solutions to solve technical challenges facing production.
QUALIFICATIONS:The Manufacturing Engineer must hold a B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology.Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/ production packaging facility. Must have experience in programming and troubleshooting Robots, PLC and Ladder Logic experience.The Manufacturing Engineer must manage multiple projects at once to meet project schedules, along with contingency plans within a designated budget.Must be able to analyze, read and interpret complex documents/drawings.Excellent computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. SolidWorks, Ladder Logic, Line by Line ProgrammingMust have excellent communication skills.Must be a LOCAL candidate willing to travel.
