📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:Quality Systems Manager must be responsible for overseeing safety and quality management systems to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance.Must partner with the maintenance, production, lab management and quality personnels.Responsible for disposition of raw materials and finished products.Coach plant personnel and give training for continuous improvement.Quality Manager must oversee pre-operational sanitation inspection.Be involved with corrective action and preventive measure activities.Delegate tasks to QA Techs and follow-up to ensure proper completion.Conduct routine audits.Actively take part in new product development, validation and implementation.Quality Manager must complete assigned projects by the QA Director with minimal supervision.Troubleshoot technical issues related to safety and quality.Complete and develop reports/ records using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point).QA Tech scheduling including personal time off and unscheduled absences.
QUALIFICATIONS:Quality Manager must hold a bachelor’s in science.Must have 7+ years of production/manufacturing background in quality control/ quality management/ quality assurance.Must have 5+ years of supervisory experience.Must have knowledge of quality training and audits.Must have experience in quality assurance and safety management systems.Great communication skills, Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills.Be proficient with computers.Be flexible in shifts and schedule.
