There is an on-site expectation with work-from-home flexibility after training for this role. Operational needs and our telework policy determine your work environment. You will be required to attend training in on-site for approximately 6 weeks. You will be required to conduct trainings and attend various other meetings in the office as required by our contract with the Department of State.

Job Summary

The Fraud Prevention Supervisor supervises, directs, trains and assists staff in performing applicable support functions as it relates to the particular function assigned. The Fraud Supervisor supervises employees and day to day Fraud unit operations ensuring that work performed in his/her functional area is performed to optimum quality standards and provides procedures and retraining to employees as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervises, directs, trains and assists staff in performing applicable support functions as it relates to the particular function assignedHas or develops an understanding of the system in use in the unit and serves as a resource for Senior Research Analysts in unique situationsSupervises employees and the day-to-day operations ensuring that work performed in his/her functional area is performed to optimum quality standards and provides procedures and retraining to employees as neededUses independent judgement to assign work to employees based on site needs to meet production or quality requirements (objectives/goals)Assists Unit Manager, Assistant Operations Managers, and Operations Manager to ensure timely delivery of all deliverables as they relate to their functional areaTracks progress of all activities in his/her functional area and may make adjustments to achieve objectives and reports the status to the Unit Manager or Assistant Operations Manager as appropriateManages the progressive discipline process within area of responsibility and makes recommendations for promotions and terminationsInitiates performance reviews for employees within area of responsibilityMay interview and assess applicants and make recommendations for employee selectionTrains new employees and conducts refresher training for current employeesEnsures that the Standard Operating Procedures for his/her area of responsibility are used, understood and kept up to date

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Associates Degree and one (1) year of experience in visa operations supportOne (1) year of supervisory experience may be substituted for visa operations support experienceAn additional two years (2) of (similar) team management experience may be substituted for an Associates degreeThree (3) years of Fraud Prevention experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance; otherwise, an MRPT is required

Additionally, you must live within 90 miles of Portsmouth, NH , and be a U.S. citizen. You will be required to attend training in on-site for approximately 6 weeks. You will be required to conduct trainings and attend various other meetings in the office as required by our contract with the Department of State.

Work Environment

You will primarily work in an office environment but may be required to work in other work environments as well.
