Job Summary

Suvi Global Services, LLC located in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking experienced warehouse workers to join our team of professionals.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties, the offloading of UPS/FedEx, TL and LTL freight, sorting of freight, receiving freight into WMS, put away freight, order pick small packages, cycle counting, physical inventories, safety, and housekeeping. All other job duties as needed. You are expected to receive a minimum of 100 packages or 100 boxes per day. You are expected to receive one single receipt in 3-5 minutes. Put-A-Way Process you are expected to put a single piece of freight away within five minutes. Will follow all of Akima & SUVI Global Services Safety rules and requirements. Position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualififcation

Education:High School or equivalentExperience: 3+ YearsMust be detailed oriented. Strong command of the English language both verbally and written. Basic mathProficient with Warehouse Management Systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Proficient in using a tape measure. Proficient with computers, printers, and scanners. Proficient in using a banding tool. Proficient in using a stretch wrap machine. Proficient with handheld stretch wrapping. Operate a manual pallet jack. Operate a forklift but not required. Willing to train on all material handlingequipment. A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and meet the demands of our customer and management. A working knowledge of/or experience in/with a Warehouse Management Systems, consolidation and 3PL operations. The ability to work independently and collaborate with the team. Strong personal drive and pride in workmanship

Physical requirements on a regular basis

To lift/carry/push up to 100 pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, squat, stoop, crawl, crouch, lean, kneel, climb, sit, and balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include use of a standard laptop, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. The qualified candidate will be subjected to an (M)inimum (R)isk (P)public(T)rust Clearance Background Check. Job Type: Full Time

Hours of Operations

7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

First Break 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM. Lunch Break 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM.

There is no afternoon break. It has been incorporated into lunch break. Mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays when required.
