📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Akkodis is seeking a Jr Infrastructure Specialist 1 for a contract-to-hire position with one of our direct clients based out in Washington, DC (100% Remote).
Rate Range: $40-50/hr. on w2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
The Role:As a Junior HR Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the operations and maintenance of the client human capital technology stack. This includes setting up and maintaining application environments and databases, monitoring and analyzing system performance, managing patch management and upgrades, and collaborating with security engineers on compliance and vulnerability issues. You will also assist with troubleshooting system errors and performance problems.

Education and Experience:RequiredMinimum 1 year of experience + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent5+ years of experience with AWS administration, including architecting and maintaining AWS solutions2+ years of experience with database administration, modeling, tuning, backup, and recovery2+ years of experience with implementing and maintaining network configuration in cloud environments2+ years of experience with supporting containerized solutionsAbility to research issues and provide solutionsExcellent customer relationship management skills, including effective oral and written communicationsMust be able to work the hours of 8 am-5 pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location
Required CertificationsAWS Foundation Certification
Preferred SkillsUnderstanding of SaaS platforms, such as ServiceNow and SalesforceExperience with human capital systems, especially in support of Federal customersExperience working in an agile environment, preferably using SAFe
