PowerScale Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a PowerScale or Isilon Administrator for a direct hire opportunity in Columbus OH. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of experience in administration of PowerScale OR Isilon.Pay Range: $120K plus benefits and bonuses This is a future growth opportunity offering a great culture!

PowerScale Administrator job responsibilities include:Document, maintains, and communicates current client on-premises and cloud infrastructuresDevelops forward thinking models that support IT strategy and architectureDevelops, recommends, and implements a migration strategy to move from the current technical platforms to the future technical architectureDefines and prioritizes the approach to implement the migration strategyConsults in the design or selection of new systems and technical infrastructure projectsArchitect, design, and implement virtualized/converged, software-defined, and cloud-based infrastructuresLeads and participates in departmental projects, ensuring that projects are clearly defined, systematically executed, fully documented, and business results orientedAdherence to project management processes and standards Deploy, upgrade, and migrate vSphere environments; including the underlying storageProvide advanced technical services during the post-sales cycle

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience with Administration of PowerScale OR IsilonAbility to break down problems and identify all their facetsFlexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job doneEffective communication skills both internally and externallyHighly organized and detail orientedPlusses include Varonis DatAdvantage, Isilon WORM configuration and any form of scripting that can assist with honing automation of repetitive tasks, Scripting and infrastructure automation – Shell scripting, Powershell, Ansible, Terra Form, etc.
