📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Akkodis is seeking a Product Designer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Remote). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in User Experience(UX), Mobile/Android, Figma, Reatil, Product Design would be a big plus.
Pay Range: $55-$65/hour ; The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibility Summary:Sune is creating the most entertaining, video-driven shopping platform where the story of makers and their creations come alive and are discovered by passionate consumers that love to own & gift the artisanal, hand-crafted & handmade?. As UX/UI Designer on the team, the contractor will help design a multi-sided platform. They will help develop our consumer app, web experience and vendor platform for sellers. They will report to our UX/UI Design Lead. You will work with our product team to define the user journey, build wireframes and prototypes, plan and run consumer research and implement designs that improve our brand and enhance our platform. You will interpret business strategy and creative direction intelligently.
What You Bring:Bachelor's degree in a related field of study5-7+ years of experience in Product, User Experience, HCI, Graphic or Web DesignInteraction and visual design skills required, including the use of Figma for advanced prototypingYou will have experience in Adobe Suite: Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesignYou will embrace Mobile First and Lean UX Design IterationExperience conducting both quantitative and qualitative user research at all stages of product developmentDesign expertise with a deep insight into newest methods, trends, and design operationsProduce high quality graphics and visual componentsAlign team on complex product decisions while advocating the voice of the customerScope product and service projects strategically with an understanding of product development processesYou must promote Accessibility and ComplianceYou will have experience with Design Studio Facilitation and Rapid PrototypingYou will be experienced in an Agile work setting (scrum, sprint cycles, etc.)
