📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Akkodis is seeking a Project Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Phoenix AZ. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Aerosapce manufacturing industry.
Pay Range: $45 - $52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Duties:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
YOU MUST HAVE• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics• 2+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget• Strong leadership and project management skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment• Experience in risk management and problem-solving• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies• Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline
