Quality Control Inspector (IPC-610 Certified)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Akkodis is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a 6-12 month contract to hire position with a manufacturing client located in Mount Prospect, IL. Candidates must be IPC -610 certified and have at least three years of hands-on experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate the quality of existing PCBA and electronic assemblies to ensure that the assemblies are built to industry, IPC, and company standards. The ideal candidate would have previous experience as a certified IPC specialist supporting an electronics production environment and possess a strong background in electronic assembly soldering.
Pay/Salary Range: $22.00/hour - $27.00/hour
Quality Control Inspector job responsibilities include:production data to inspect printed circuit boards and assemblies.and understand PCB layout images, component data sheets, work instructions, drawings, and rework instructions to verify acceptability of each assembly.the results of each inspected assembly and printed circuit board.by all ESD and safety standards
QUALIFICATIONS:school diploma or equivalent.of three years of experience with board level inspection, soldering, troubleshooting and\or repair.problem solving and troubleshooting skills.to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, PCB layout, and assembly documents for electronic printed circuit boards.in surface mount and through hole soldering of electrical components.personality and ability to work independently as well as in a team.communication skills.Certification is required
