📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Your Role
In this key role, the Mechanic I will be responsible for supporting the Production Group in a fast-paced union environment. Duties will include performing general maintenance on equipment, daily preventative maintenance, and centerless grinding and tooling assembly.
About You
High School diploma or GED Experience with the operation and breakdown of equipment preferred Machinist training and/or experience a plus Strong mechanical and electrical skills Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
What You Can Expect From Us
The hourly rate for this position is 35.60 and after one year goes to 39.55 per hour. 40 hours guaranteed.
Additional elements of the compensation package include medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance. We offer paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year and a 401 (K) retirement savings plan that has a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you invest.
