Role DescriptionThis is a full-time field role as a Hospice Social Worker at Alliance Health: Serenity Hospice. The Hospice Social Worker will be responsible for providing support and care to patients and their families in hospice care. This includes assisting with discharge planning, providing grief counseling, and providing emotional support. The role is based out of our Southborough, MA office, however, most work will be in the field.
QualificationsLICSW license in MassachusettsMedical Social Work and Social Work skillsExperience in end-of-life care and grief counselingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to provide emotional supportExcellent organizational and time management skillsExperience in the healthcare industry is a plusMaster's degree in Social Work
