ARG has recently partnered with a rapidly growing PE-backed 3PL that is seeking to add a rockstar Sr Accountant to their growing team. In this role, not only will you support the Accounting function, but this role will be groomed for future growth into an Accounting Manager (and beyond). The company is seeking a hands-on leader eager for opportunity to make a significant impact in their organization. ResponsibilitiesPrepare journal entries and account reconciliations in compliance with Company standards and policies as well as drive improvements to our documentation and processesHelp create, improve, and conduct detailed balance sheet account reconciliations that will support process improvement and standardizationAssist with continuous improvement, automation, and internal control initiatives in support of corporate strategies; for example, you will be expected to drive automation of certain accounting tasksGenerate ad-hoc financial reports, perform general ledger account analysis and technical accounting research as requestedWork actively with cross-functional teams to drive project completion impacting various accounting and finance areaActively support internal and external audits including preparation of audit support and responding to auditor inquiriesFacilitate the enhancement of internal controls and account reconciliation processes and ensure the effective implementation and ongoing operating effectiveness of a best-in-class controls environmentPrimary day-to-day client communications and problem resolutionEnsure timely and accurate client communication and deliverables

Qualifications

3+ years' of professional accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experienceExperience in 3PL, logistics, warehousing, supply chain, procurement, or similar would be preferredCPA preferred
