Duties
Lead and manage the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) process, including training facilitators, planning, conducting PHAs, performing Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and assessing the need for Critical Safety Systems (SIS/SIL). Manage the Management of Change (MOC) process, providing governance for the Deferral process, and practicing escalation where needed. Share PSM best practices among sites and actively participate in the global Process Safety Council. Lead/participate in PSM audits to ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA RMP, ACC standards, and lead/participate in incident investigations, leveraging learnings across the site units and globally, ensuring root cause and corrective actions are implemented.
Qualifications
BS in Chemical Engineering or a related technical degree with PSM experience. Additional professional certification and/or a graduate degree in Process Safety formal education. Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in PSM and RMP best practices for petrochemical and/or chemical plants. Exceptional leadership, ownership, and communication skills, along with expertise in the knowledge-base and application of Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP).
Salary: $$100,000 - $125,000
