📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Are you a highly motivated IT Business Analyst with experience in requirements gathering, alternatives analysis, and RFP development? if so, we want to talk to you about the remote opportunity in the Johnson County, KS area.
We are seeking a self-starting, vendor-facing individual to join our team as a key lead, collaborating with our project manager and technical staff to perform requirements management, workflow analysis, and stakeholder workgroup facilitation to develop an RFP for a Healthcare software solution.
As our ideal candidate, you will have a natural curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. You will possess analytical reasoning and assessment abilities, along with standard analysis techniques, group facilitation, and excellent communication skills.
Duties
Lead the development of a request for proposal (RFP) for Healthcare software solution Collaborate with project manager, technical leadership, and staff to perform requirements management, alternatives analysis, workflow analysis, and stakeholder workgroup facilitation. Challenge business and technical staff to think outside the normal process and promote efficiency in the way of doing business. Identify business strengths and opportunities and offer recommendations based on research for areas of improvement. Plan, organize and deliver work sessions for business requirement managing. Review and edit requirements and business processes, as necessary. Collaborate with contractor staff on design, development and defect management. Define, analyze, and document requirements through the planning and development life cycle. Conduct needs assessment with gap analysis. Facilitate stakeholder workgroups to obtain their requirements Perform alternative analysis with cost benefit analysis. Develop Feasibility Study Report. Communicate clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners. Use requirements to drive the design and manage project scope for the RFP. Conduct program research by gathering all documents needed for contractor research, searching SharePoint, seeking out documents and information from business and IT teams via email and meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of IT Business Analyst experience - specifically software development projects Knowledge and ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint Thorough understanding of SDLC. Strong written and verbal communications skills Experience with requirements management, documenting workflows, and facilitating business/program meetings Proficiency in data flow modeling and standard analysis techniques Excellent communication skills and group facilitation abilities Preferred but not required: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) Certification or other Business Analysis certification
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000
