Safeguard Our Systems: IT Security & Risk Analyst
Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for keeping data secure? We're looking for an IT Security & Risk Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in protecting our organization's IT infrastructure.
In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks. You'll work with IT and business stakeholders to ensure our systems are compliant with industry standards and best practices. The position will coordinate with outside parties, including managed security operations centers (SOCs) and other security-based vendors. The Information Security and Risk Analyst will test vulnerability patches and certify updates before release to production systems.
Responsibilities
Analyzes cyber threats and vulnerabilities, using various sources and collaborating with security partners. Manages firm's security systems and monitors backups & disaster recovery. Assesses and reports on cybersecurity risk posture using KPIs and metrics. Develops security strategy, establishes service agreements, and measures performance. Supports IT leadership, fosters collaboration, and promotes security culture.
Experience
Proven experience in security engineering and operations (asset, patch, vulnerability management). Experience with incident response, scripting, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, Insider Threat) and cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Security certifications (preferred existing or willingness to obtain). Strong collaboration skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to ethical practices.
Salary: $95,000-$112,000 annually
