Quality Assurance/Control Technician (Construction Materials)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are on the hunt for a results-driven intellectual powerhouse. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction projects by conducting field and laboratory testing on asphalt, soils, aggregates, and other construction materials.
Duties/Responsibilities
Test construction materials (asphalt, aggregates, soils) in labs and fields. Ensure quality by following standards and maintaining testing knowledge. Support implementation of new material testing technologies. Interact professionally with clients and maintain a safe work environment. Demonstrate strong work ethic, integrity, and willingness to learn.
Experience/Competencies
2+ years of experience in construction materials testing. Expert knowledge of asphalt, soils, and related lab/field testing. Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, and meeting deadlines. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Responsibilities to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs). Responsibilities to work in various conditions, including extreme weather. Current materials testing certifications including KDOT, MoDOT and/or ACI preferred
Salary: $41,600-62,400 annually
