Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement environmental and regulatory compliance programs to meet Clean Air Act and other relevant requirements. Ensure robust processes and procedures are in place to maintain compliance and improve site performance. Interface with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with US EPA, IEPA, and local regulations. Provide support for proposed projects and assist with site compliance permitting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 7-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, consulting, or equivalent. Strong program and project management skills with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience in chemical, refining, manufacturing, or similar environment, with knowledge of regulatory agencies and compliance issues.
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
