📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Immediate Contract Need! We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to source, purchase, and manage inventory to keep our operations running smoothly. You'll combine your buying expertise with planning skills to ensure we have the right materials, at the right time, and at the best price.
Duties
Source & Manage Suppliers: Negotiate best terms, manage contracts, and ensure on-time delivery and quality. Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Manage ERP system data and collaborate with internal teams to meet production needs. Manage Material Flow: Expedite materials, handle returns, and oversee new vendor onboarding. Optimize Costs & Inventory: Reduce costs while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Production Planning: Analyze data, release production orders, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Preferred Experience
Education & Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office & ERP systems. (APICS certification a plus). Lean Manufacturing: Adherence to lean principles with attention to detail. Planning & Analysis: Excellent planning skills with ability to generate reports and analyze data. Accuracy & Timeliness: Ensures accurate and timely completion of tasks and reports. Continuous Improvement: Actively participates in process improvement initiatives.
Salary- $25-$28/hour
