Responsibilities
Lead & Develop Teams: Mentor & guide plant engineers, cultivate a safety culture, and manage performance across all plants. Technical Expertise: Solve machine issues, drive continuous improvement, and bridge the gap between global engineering & manufacturing. Project Powerhouse: Oversee capital equipment budgets & projects, deliver technical expertise, and support new business opportunities. Supplier Savvy: Build strong relationships with key equipment partners, influence technology, and secure optimal machinery. Champion Best Practices: Facilitate communication between teams, share knowledge across plants, and implement new technologies. Results-Oriented: Track performance, report progress, and push teams to achieve engineering goals and KPIs.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise: A technical degree with in-depth knowledge of slab foam manufacturing and urethane processing systems is vital. Leadership & Management: Proven experience (5-8 years, 3+ in management) with strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage costs, implement cost reduction plans, and prioritize customer quality. Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and labor relations legislation. Effective Communication: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills for collaboration and travel.
Salary: $140,000/year
