The Opportunity
This role is hybrid in office weekly with some work from home days. Employee must sit in our Detroit, Charlotte, or Fort Washington office.
The Technology and Process Optimization Analyst will work with the Enterprise Resilience organization to develop and deliver technology solutions for Ally’s Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Operational Resilience, and Third Party Risk Management teams, in collaboration with Information Technology and Risk partners.
The Work Itself
Support the implementation of technology solutions including process development, user story creation, end to end testing, communications, and training Identify opportunities to improve risk monitoring activities, data quality, process consistency, and coordinate across Enterprise Resilience to execute improvements, Develop and maintain strong cross-functional working relationships with internal business partners, including developing and presenting process trainings, Explore opportunities to enhance existing processes, reporting, and tracking, Support the business in technology inquiries and incident remediation, Conduct scenario analysis of risk assessment scoring adjustments to support new/emerging risks and to drive decisions,
Skills
The Skills You Bring
1 + year experience working in an agile environment, with teams building user-facing software applications required Experience interpreting, analyzing, reporting, and presenting complex data Bachelors degree required Demonstrated technical acumen; baseline knowledge of how software systems & application components work together; able to navigate technology, architectural and software development considerations at a high-level Some experience in programming languages to perform data collection and data analysis (preferred). Ability to self-prioritize tasks, work collaboratively, and support multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to comfortably interact with various levels of management, Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task and must be a fast starter, Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; intermediate proficiency in Excel (pivot, v-lookup, etc).
