Job Description Overview
As a Backend Software Developer, you will primarily focus on designing and implementing algorithms on high-performance computing systems for our data analytics ecosystem. Additionally, you will be responsible for low-level/OS level programming, performance tuning, and optimization for parallel and GPU computing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Programming Languages: 2+ years of experience in Shell Scripting, C, Java, and Python.Compute Technologies: Proficiency in HPC/Parallel computing, GPU computing (CUDA, OpenCL, etc).System Administration: Familiarity with Linux administration, LSF, NFS, and N2k.Software Development Practices: Experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug/change management systems.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technologies and Education
Experience in HPC/Parallel computing, GPU computing, AWS services, PostgreSQL databases, and web development frameworks.Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields with corresponding years of experience.
Responsibilities
Your role will involve applying software knowledge to assist in the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software. You will also be extensively involved in analyzing user needs, designing and implementing software features, and collaborating with the project team to achieve project objectives.
