Clinical Counselor

ALPHA Behavioral Health Center provides quality, accredited services to individuals and their families to reduce problems experienced related to substance use disorders, behavioral health needs, and/or co-occurring disorders in an outpatient setting. ALPHA is seeking to hire a clinical counselor to provide treatment and recovery services including but not limited to clinical assessment, diagnosis, group and individual counseling, case management, and coordination of care with referral agencies.

Requires a bachelor’s (prefer master’s) degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in behavioral science, human services, or a related field and (prefer) two or more years of experience working with community-based or rehabilitative programs. Prefer LPC, LMSW or LISW license and strong case management background. Certification or licensure as an Addiction Counselor by SC LLR preferred. Must be available to work 8:30 – 5:00 weekdays, but seeking flexibility in scheduling for possible evening services to increase accessibility to consumers who work during the day.
