π Role Overview & Responsibilities
Alutiiq Professional Consulting, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Subcontract Administrator. Responsibilities include administration and management of all Company contracts in accordance with the processes established in the Contract Administration and Management Procedures. Our team takes a βcradle to graveβ approach, providing contractual support from the bid and proposal phase through award, execution, and closeout of a successful effort.Serves as the focal point to ensure timely bids are received, reviews both the technical and cost proposals, consults with technical staff, and resolves matters of disagreement between Alutiiq and the potential subcontractor through to ensure compliant proposal acceptance.Coordinates, develops, and produces subcontract documentation such as subcontracts, agreements, modification task/delivery orders, solicitations, estimates, cost/price analyses, negotiation memorandums, justifications, determinations, special contract provisions, representations, certifications, and correspondence.Prepares the solicitation document for complex acquisitions to include statements of work, terms and conditions and flow-down terms and conditions (FAR, DFARS, etc.), bid or performance evaluation factors, and other measures are incorporated into the Requests for Proposal as may be appropriate for the procurement.Participates in the evaluation of subcontractor proposals for adherence to company and client requirements.Consults with cross-functional staff representing the legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests of the subcontract award and technical performance.Exhibits best practice work habits and collaborates with other subcontract team members to promote operational excellence.Builds, Reviews, and approves CPSR compliant file documentation.Coordinates subcontractor mandatory CMRA, FAPIIS and SAM reporting.Performs subcontract closeout actions, complete file documentation, and transfer files accordingly.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:Experience in the full lifecycle of contract administration.Working knowledge of Government contracting laws and regulations, including FAR/DFARS, Service Contract Act, and DCMA property requirements.Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirements.Ability to Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to understand and communicate requirements between companies, guiding and educating the parties through requirements, the purchasing system, to overcome adversity and meet business needs.Experience managing diverse subcontractors for both large and small businesses.Capable of professionally managing confidential information.Ability to operate and negotiate independently.Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal/written communication skills and sound analytical skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Effective administrative and organizational skills.Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional teamBachelorβs degree in business or a related discipline plus 2 to 8 years of subcontract administration experience in government contracting is desired; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
