📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Ambassador Personnel is hiring an Industrial Electrician for their client in the Piedmont, SC area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a great company offering exceptional benefits. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal Industrial Electrician will have an advanced ability with multi-craft experience in the repair and maintenance of machinery, robots, and electrical wiring.
Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot and program of Siemens S5 and S7 PLC’s, Beckhoff PC based controls and other PLC and control systems.Troubleshoot robot / robot controllers and perform teach-ins on new jobs as requiredTroubleshoot of servo drives and other drive controllersRepair and maintain press shop equipmentCheck, maintain and install of electrical components on our production diesTroubleshoot of production and non-production equipment
Skills and ExperienceJourneyman Electrician / Electronic degree from a recognized, accredited year college, or equivalent combination of education and experience or the completion of an electrical / electronic type apprenticeship programIndustrial Electrical / Electronic apprentice trade certificate.Industrial Electrician Experience: RequiredMulti-Craft Industrial Experience: PreferredPLC Experience: PreferredMust be able to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder, pull, push and stand for long periods of time. Lifting requirements of up to 50 pounds frequently.
