Painter

The Hughes-Treitler Business Unit designs and manufactures state of the art plate-fin heat exchangers, cold plates, condensers, evaporators, and other heat transfer products. We provide custom design and engineering services, to high quality manufacturing standards, for the aircraft, engine and industrial heat exchangers in the mobile/marine/avionics/space and missile markets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prime, paint, and part mark assemblies per military specifications. Mask, engrave, clear coat, and silk screen heat exchangers and sub-assemblies for the aerospace industry. Order all painting supplies. Maintain all painting equipment.

Education and/or Experience

High School or Technical School Graduate. 3 years’ minimum painting experience. Must be conversant in and read, write, and understand English. Equipment Used: Paint gun, respirator, engraving machine, paint mixer. Good mechanical ability. Knowledge of aerospace and military specifications. Use of general aerospace and precision and non- precisions tools.

Physical Requitements

Must be able to see details at close range. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.

Compensation

Salary Minimum: $50,000

Salary Maximum: $70,000
