Applications Engineer
You will be responsible for creating custom design drawings and software based on current products to meet unique customer requirements. You will also support sourcing, production personnel, and inspection and test personnel in the product design, build, and testing.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign radio remote control system designs based on customer specifications documented in the customer orderCreate custom and detailed electrical schematics using AutoCADDevelop custom software for each order using proprietary software.Responsible for reviewing the accuracy and completeness of BOMs.Provide technical support to cross-functional teams on various product lines.Review RFQs and specify company products to meet customer applications.Provide technical support to customers when integrating and installing new products.
What we need from you:Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or similar.Experience with Electrical PLC controlsKnowledge of product design and shop floor processes as required to support manufacturingFamiliar with Ladder Logic and Function Block diagramsSkilled with AutoCAD and reading schematic drawingsAbility to travel 5-10% of the time to customer locations.
