• This position is currently hybrid, with the possibility of going full time on-site in the future.

About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Software QA Tester to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our interactive 3D simulations for high school and college-level education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and a keen understanding of science or engineering principles.

What You’ll DoDevelop and execute test plans to identify software issues related to functionality, performance, reliability, and stability.Collaborate with development teams to refine software outputs and interact with educational consultants to ensure scientific accuracy and educational value.Conduct both manual and automated tests to ensure software functionality meets our high standards.Document all testing phases and defects, assist in troubleshooting, and provide detailed feedback for software improvements.Ensure that the software meets all specifications and requirements regarding quality and safety.Stay updated with the latest trends in educational technology and testing strategies.

Skills and Abilities Required2+ years of experience preferredProven experience as a Software QA Tester or similar role.Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience in testing interactive 3D graphics and user interfaces.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.Passion for education and technology.

Minimum Education and Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related scientific field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Earth and Space Sciences).
