📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
CPA's with investment/underwriting experience or interest:
Our client is an impact investor, underwriting loans to support development in lower income neighborhoods.

As the investment manager, you'll work closely with the CFO to evaluate loans for new and expanding business including construction and bridge loans. Other responsibilities include:Prepare and compile investment memos and related materials for Committee and Board review and approval.Prepare data, reports, project profiles, and web and general communications content to help showcase project impacts.Help manage the closing process; and ensure overall compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.Work on the development of new initiatives and programs as assigned and develop relationship within the relevant investment community.
Qualifications:BS in Accounting or finance required; CPA or CFA a+Experience in real estate or construction strongly preferred.Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, business acumen are required.Able to work onsite in downtown DC 3 days/week.Prior audit or underwriting experience a+
