ROLE SUMMARY
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning pans, pots, dishes, and other elements used in the Tasting Room and Kitchen. They operate the dishwashing machine or wash dishes by hand, and maintain kitchen cleanliness. The dishwasher scrapes, sorts, and stacks dirty dishes, loads them into the dishwashing machine and then adds soap to turn it on. Once the cleaning operation is complete, they unload the dishes and put them in their places to be reused again.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Setting up dish pit; ensuring chemicals are properly stocked and connected. Washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans. Placing clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas. Other cleaning tasks as needed. Minor prep tasks as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior restaurant kitchen experience (preferred).
