As the Revenue & Compensation Accountant, you will assume a pivotal role in the effective management of the key financial aspects within our organization. Your primary responsibilities include performing the calculation of Provider (physicians/advanced practioners) compensation, prepare Provider compensation statements, respond to Provider inquiries, ensuring accurate recording of revenue-related transactions and related accounting records. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing financial systems, and contributing to the preparation of comprehensive financial reports will be integral to your role. This position presents a unique opportunity for impactful contributions to our financial processes, supporting the organization in achieving its financial goals.

Schedule: Hours will flexible be between 8am-6pm. This position is hybrid but will require 1-2 days on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:Perform Provider compensation calculations, tracking various structures and agreements to ensure compliance.Oversee revenue-related transactions and ensure accurate recording in financial systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and contribute to the preparation of comprehensive financial reports.Reconcile compensation accruals on a monthly basis.Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to maintain accuracy and integrity.Provide support in financial analysis and forecasting to contribute to strategic decision-making.Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimal financial management.Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance.

Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or relevant professional certification is preferred.Minimum two (2) years’ experience in public accounting or similarPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
