Director of Finance And Accounting

We're looking for an awesome Director of Accounting & Finance to join our financial management team. This is a really important role that involves overseeing all aspects of our accounting department to make sure our financial records are accurate, transparent, and compliant. Our main goal is to keep our company financially healthy and help our senior management and stakeholders make informed decisions.

Here are some of the things you'll be responsible for:Accounting: You'll handle all the accounting tasks, like the Month End Close Process, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.Financial Reporting: You'll prepare and present the financial statements, like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. We need to follow all the accounting rules and standards. Budgeting and Forecasting: You'll work with other departments to create budgets and plan for the future. Your analysis of financial data will help us make smart decisions. Financial Analysis: You'll dig into the numbers and find ways to improve our performance, save money, and make more revenue.Internal Controls: You'll set up strong internal controls to prevent fraud and mistakes. We want to protect our assets and keep our finances in check.Audit and Compliance: You'll coordinate audits and make sure we follow all the rules and regulations. You'll be the go-between for the company and auditors or regulators.Team Management: You'll lead a team of accounting professionals and help them grow in their careers.Technology and Systems: You'll stay on top of the latest technology and find ways to make our financial processes more efficient and accurate.Strategic Planning: You'll work with the executive team to develop our business strategies and financial goals.Risk Management: You'll identify risks and come up with plans to keep our financial stability intact.Payroll Processing: You'll make sure our employees get paid on time and accurately.Tax Returns: You'll handle our income tax returns and make sure we're following all the rules.

Here's what we're looking for in a candidate:

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. It would be great if you have a master's degree or CPA certification too.At least 10 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with leadership and managerial skills.A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.Great problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent communication skills to work well with everyone in the company.The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A strategic mindset and a focus on the future.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
