Title- AWS Cloud Solutions Architect
Client: Charter Communications
Candidates must be local to Charlotte. No relo candidates.
Location – Charlotte, NC | Hybrid schedule – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Job Description:You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing AWS cloud solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and secure cloud infrastructures, leveraging the latest AWS services and best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving business value through cloud innovation. • Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure AWS cloud architectures to meet client requirements.• Provide technical leadership and guidance on AWS best practices, services, and solutions.• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective cloud solutions.• Conduct technical assessments, audits, and reviews of existing AWS environments to identify areas for improvement.• Stay updated on emerging AWS technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our solutions.• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on AWS cloud technologies, providing training and mentorship to team members as needed.• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations. Qualifications:• Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud environments.• In-depth knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFormation.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.• Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.• Knowledge and understanding of Chat GPT, AI, Machine Learning• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) would be a big plus.• FinOps knowledge is a must• Cloud Security experience is a must
