What you'll be doing:The Accounting Supervisor will collaborate within a team to oversee financial operations for overseas regions. This role entails a range of responsibilities, from managing general ledger activities to preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, remittances, and related analyses for management. Additionally, the position involves supervising an accounting staff member, including training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations
Additional Responsibilities include:Ensuring adherence to internal practices and efficient implementation.Reviewing and analyzing financial statementsProviding financial guidance to overseas superiors and subordinates.Supervising timely and accurate financial report submissions.Reviewing and approving monthly remittances, payroll schedules, bank reconciliations, etc.Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly analysis reports.Coordinating and reporting on annual budgetConducting research, documentation, and reporting on special projects as directed
What we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.3-4 years of solid accounting experience.Preferably, experience in not-for-profit organizations.Understanding of international locations and foreign currency preferred.Strong analytical, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and seek help when needed.Comfortable working in a result-oriented environment with occasional overtime and fixed deadlines.
