If interested in the opportunity below please email a copy of your resume to [email protected] *** Position: COE Engineer Location: Boca Raton, FL (Hybrid) 30 Month Contract Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years Responsibilities: Utilities Coordinator/Investigations SPOC: Single point of contact for municipalities needing prompt feedback regarding the potential conflict of VZ fiber assets that may impede the progress of inquiring entities road widening/relocation projects. Investigations Digital engineering and construction drawings/prints markups Roadways & Signalization Plans Prepare conflict matrix and utility work schedules Provide no facilities/no conflict letters
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Strong Computer Skills (Databases, Processes, and Administrative) - Comprehensive knowledge and skills for more complex applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, Google Earth, etc. Knowledge of telecommunications networks plant and right-of-way practices
DESIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of engineering and construction field practices preferably in South Florida Engineering and construction permitting requirements/processes. Telecom Network Operations experience - splicing, testing, repair and maintenance of large count fiber optic cables
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in engineering, architecture, computer science, or 3 - 5 years of applicable experience
