Project Finance Analyst

Finance Project/Portfolio AnalystLarge Banking ClientGroup: Global Corporate Investment Bank Locations: Richmond and Atlanta (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 Remote)Duration: 12-18 months

Top Requirements: Project Financials Experience (Project Budgeting, Financial Planning for projects, estimates, resource allocation/management)Project Management Skills Large Industry Experience - ideally banking or financial servicesFinancials within a technology space or understanding of the SDLC Excel and MS Project

Team: Technology team that covers Swift Payments. Team has to maintain SWIFT architecture for our client. That includes security updates, app upgrades, and configuration changes. Any initiatives for new business or expansion.

Project: Our client is looking for someone to join their growing team within their Corporate Investment Banking Group. They are looking for someone to help them with their financials. Have someone right now who is the Delivery Lead for the team and covers financials, as well. This person Intakes all their work and works with team to provide estimates and plans out delivery and assigns work to different resources. That’s just a lot for this person to just handle, so looking for someone to help with financials. Ensure estimates line up. Ensure they are getting all the funding they need.Bulk of role is this – not technical delivery. Would be great if they have PM experience as a whole, as well. Core skillset is financials.

Overall Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance, or related field/technical training.·Must have strong analytical skills.·Minimum of 5 years’ experience required in technical role supporting project/programs.·Industry Certifications in PMP, ITIL are strongly preferred.·Experience with project management / program management is a must.·Strong background in IT service delivery role.·Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance, or related field/technical training.·Must have strong analytical skills.·Minimum of 5 years’ experience required in technical role supporting network project/programs.·Industry Certifications in PMP, ITIL are strongly preferred.·Experience with project management / program management is a must.·Strong background in IT service delivery role.·Leadership: be a self-starter, self-directed and shows initiative.·Focused on execution, delivery, and commitment to dates.·Ability to work in a high paced environment.·Can manage risk; is a good decision maker.·Understands the big picture; can relate to the firm’s strategy and actions and how they support our business results.·Demonstrates ownership: Is accountable and influence/can hold others accountable.·Strong written and verbal communications skills.·Ability to communicate and influence upward as well as laterally – organized and detail oriented.
