Job DetailsJob Title- Packaging EngineerLocation- Crete, NEDurations- 12 Months+ Contract
Position Summary:As a Senior Packaging Engineer, you will plan, conduct, and coordinate packaging process engineering functions covering all aspects of packaging equipment from primary packaging through secondary packaging and process unit operations as applied in the production of wet and dry pet foods, pet treats and cat litter. You are an expert in all aspects of food processing technology in terms of production systems, quality/sanitation, equipment design and application.
Basic Qualifications (Minimum):• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.• 5+ years of packaging equipment engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.• up to 30% Travel to equipment suppliers and construction sites for field data gathering, scope development, project reviews, and system FAT.
Steel toe shoes are required, and to be provided by the worker at own expense (job requirement)
