Responsibilities:We are searching for a skilled Controller to join our team in Santa Barbara. As the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations and providing strategic guidance to drive the company's success.
Responsibilities;Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives.Prepare and analyze financial statements, including budgets and forecasts.Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.Manage accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Implement internal controls to protect company assets.Collaborate with departments to create and monitor budgets.Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks.Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.Lead and mentor the finance team.Foster a culture of learning and development.Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.CPA certification is preferred.Strong experience with Sage Intacct accounting software (highly desirable).Mandatory experience with multi-subsidiary/entity accounting and financial strategy.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
