We are seeking an Associate in GHG emissions lifecycle assessments to join the team in our Boston or Washington D.C. office. About the Role Investment due diligencePortfolio stewardship and operationsPortfolio company LCA project managementProject management and execution of Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs) and Lifecycle assessments (LCAs).Review of third-party developed PCFs, LCAs, and GREET modelsCarbon Accounting, GHG emissions modelling, and technical guidance on GHG emissions management and market best practice Quarterly and annual investor reporting
What We are Looking for
2-5 years of work experience in LCA development and managementMinimum of 2 years of direct professional experience in LCA modelling in the energy sectorExperience in developing and driving GHG emissions data analysis and close familiarity with leading emissions factor databases and LCA SaaS offerings, e.g., SimaPro, GaBi/ Sphera LCA, and OpenLCA, and othersExperience in developing GHG emissions reduction programs in the private sector based on PCF and/ or LCA resultsProven track record in GHG emissions modelling and GHG emissions benefit model developmentProven track record in the private sector, in-house or consulting background preferredGraduate degree with exemplary academic credentials in a related fieldStrong Microsoft Excel, and Power Point skillsStrong project management and time management skills
