📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Primary Purpose
Increase Maintenance Productivity through planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources.
Description Of Essential Duties
Be a resource for the Maintenance Supervisors to increase craft productivityBe the site specialist in the SAP system Maintain the work order/ work request system in SAPEnter purchase requisitions in SAP using the Work Order systemCreate and maintain an accurate equipment history in SAP using the Work Order systemImprove area equipment reliability and optimize resources. Develop accurate down day & shutdown schedules for your areaProvide a weekly list of available planned work for each supervisor to schedule Be knowledgeable and manage your Area work order backlogInterface with Area Maintenance Technicians and Operators to get the right down day & daily work scheduledPlan and coordinate projects and process improvements in your AreaCheck the ‘Malvern Action Log’ daily and work with the Maintenance Supervisors to get items in your Area resolvedCreate and maintain the drawings, prints, manuals, etc for the department.Enter appropriate work requests for required follow-up work. Participate in area project work and lead projects when necessary.Attend/Participate in maintenance crew meetings and other group functional meetings/training.Lead for “Job Specific Contact” for contractors (as required).
Key Safety/housekeeping Reponsibilities
Wear proper PPE at all times as requiredBe lock-out certified for the areaEnsure control room/area remains neat and cleanBe aware of all personnel working in the areaEnsure ARAUCO exercises responsible environmental stewardship in all areas of our business. Complete LASER for any upset condition or procedurePerform housekeeping regularly and during downtimeActively participate and positively contribute to the safety programReport all safety incidents (including near misses)Know location of all fire equipment and how to use it
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds requiredMinimum 2 years experience working in a manufacturing facility requiredVerifiable computer skills including MS Excel and MS Project requiredMinimum 1 year experience in a role requiring planning and organizational skills preferredExperience working in a Maintenance Management System preferredStrong written and communication skills required (must be verifiable)
