Job Summary
We are recruiting for an AVP, Claims Operations. This person will serve as a national level resource to all Arch Insurance Claims and ensures seamless service delivery across all parts of the Claims organization. This role will provides strategic direction for department’s operational functions and shared services.
Responsibilities
Monitors staff execution of objectives throughout Claims Intake and Operations; including but not limited to meeting our SLA’sDevelopment and enhancement of key performance metricsCollaborates with internal and external customers to develop and implement service strategies that address customer needs. Creates innovative solutions for delivering data and analytics to internal customers regarding Claims Intake and Operations. Review and evaluate policies and procedures, implementing changes where necessary to align with internal and external customer needs and continuous improvement initiativesSubject Matter Expert across all lines of business related to Intake and operations supportHas overall accountability as the Claims Customer Experience Owner to develop the roadmap for the Claims customer experience including people, resource and digital solutions. Maintains both a “big picture” perspective and a detailed operational understanding of one’s own area of responsibility. Business Acumen: The ability to apply technical expertise, special knowledge, maturity, and judgment to business issues and, as a result, improve team performance. Is analytical, data-driven, and fact-based in decision-making. Influence: Understands how the company works. Collaborates with and influences others to get things done. Communicates effectively and passionately about our business. Can persuade, convince, and influence people on important issues. Anticipates and prepares for how others will react and can overcome resistance. Deepens relationships at all levels.
Education And Experience
Some college or insurance related educationMinimum of eight (8) years Insurance industry/claims experience requiredThree to five (3-5) years of supervisory experienceMS Office, WORD, EXCEL, PowerpointMust be highly detail oriented with strong communication skillsSuperior Customer Service skills required
