Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project teams to pioneer innovativedrainage and stormwater management approaches for municipal civilinfrastructure and land development projects.• Technical Support: Take the lead in executing various water resourcesengineering tasks, including water quality management, floodplain analysis,stormwater conveyance, and watershed modeling. Proficiency in H&Hmodeling and GIS is essential.• Client Interaction: Actively participate in client meetings, providing invaluableinsights and guidance to align project outcomes with client objectives.• Client Presentations: Play a pivotal role in client presentations, effectivelycommunicating project concepts and designs with clarity and conviction.• Project Management Assistance: Provide integral support in the projectmanagement activities, encompassing scheduling, financial oversight, andstatus reporting.
Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study.• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida or eligibility toobtain within 12 months. (EI is a must)• 4+ years of hands-on experience in stormwater management and waterresources.• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.• Proven track record of navigating permitting processes with local governmentand water management districts.• Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis onExcel.• Familiarity with ICPR 4, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, or analogous software.• Exceptional communication skills coupled with the ability to thrive bothindependently and collaboratively.
