A DAY IN THE LIFE

Conduct regular safety inspections of assigned projects and publish reports for internal improvement and complianceEducate and train associates on health and safety related issuesWork closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Subcontractors to ensure compliance with various safety policesAttend preconstruction meetings and other project meetings as requiredSupport field personnel by applying problem solving to changing conditionsConduct formal investigations in work related incidents to determine cause and corrective actionsMaintain a current knowledge base of Local, State, and Federal safety and health regulationsConduct training to individuals and groups on a variety of risk management subjectsOversee safety on projects during high-risk scopes as needed

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

3-7 years of Safety and Health Experience preferredConstruction and Concrete Experience is preferredBS in Occupational Health and Safety or closely related fieldASP/CSP/ or CHST certification(s) preferredPossess and maintain a current, valid driver license in your state of residenceMust be willing to travel out of market approximately 3 days/week (Monday - Friday) to Construction Project Sites Nationwide and in the Chicagoland area
