📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is searching for a Facilities Technician for our plant located in Ft. Worth, TX. The Facilites Technician performs custodial duties in a manufacturing and office environment. Responibilites may include janitorial, common area minor maintenance throughout building interiors and/or exteriors.

Must be able to work 5:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday with weekends as necessary.
What You’ll Do
Perform facilities repairs and maintenance, such as plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, flooring, hardware, and other related tasksEnsure our grounds and facilities are picked up and free from debris and trash at all timesOperate lawn and yard equipment around our facility as neededOperate shop cleaning/sweeping equipment and machineryOperate forklifts to relocate trash bins and other items around the facilityEnsure all shop trash receptacles are emptied out as many times as needed throughout the dayEnsure cleaning materials are kept in stock and in place where neededSweeps, vacuums, mops floors throughout the office building, as neededPerform special projects and tasks, as neededAll other duties as needed and assigned
What You’ll Need
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a related fieldPrevious experience in residential/commercial construction and/or remodeling is a big plusPrevious experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is preferred, but not requiredThe ability to maintain good attendanceThe ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendanceA high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
